GCAIS was not established by statute, does not derive its authority from any regulatory framework, and does not act as an agent of any government or intergovernmental organization.

Published standards documents are copyright Global Council for AI Standards. They may be freely reproduced for informational, educational, or non-commercial purposes with attribution. Reproduction must not imply endorsement by or affiliation with GCAIS unless specifically authorized in writing.

The GCAIS name, logo, and accreditation badge designs are the intellectual property of the Global Council for AI Standards. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

6. Standards Revision

GCAIS reserves the right to revise published standards at any time in accordance with the Council's standards development and review processes. Organizations holding accreditation are responsible for monitoring standards updates relevant to their accreditation and for maintaining compliance with current standards.

Where a standards revision materially changes the requirements against which an organization is accredited, the organization will be notified of the change and given a reasonable transition period as determined by the Accreditation Committee.


7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from the interpretation or application of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

These terms were last updated on 2026-01-15. GCAIS reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of this website following publication of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
